Tonight (10/1/10), a couple of my friends and I went to the Crystal Bowersox corn Maze in Whitehouse, Ohio. I had been waiting for this day for a very long time! This experience was all I expected, and more! There are 4 different skill levels: one is 1.1 miles (goes through the full body of Crystal, simplified), another is .7 miles long (goes through some sunflowers), the third is 2.4 miles long (says Crystal Bowersox, has a guitar, and sunflowers), and the last one is 3 miles long (goes through sunflowers, and the head of Crystal... Dreadlocks and all!). We chose the most difficult maze. You probably could have guessed this already, but we were lost in Crystal's dreadlocks for quite some time...
Not only were there mazes, but there were bonfires, snacks, and the cool sound of Crystal Bowersox originals. I find that the owner of the Whitehouse Butterfly House and Christmas Tree Farm, Duke Wheeler, did a fantastic job with the concept of a Crystal Bowersox themed corn maze. I applaud him and all of the people who put all of this together.
If you are planning on, or would like to go to the Crystal Bowersox corn maze, it is open until midnight on Halloween. Hours can be found on whitehousecornmaze.com! :]
I also have pictures posted on my Twitter account. @calliemckinney :]
