Mark Brink was a dear friend of Crystal's who wrote and played beautiful songs that they performed together at the Uncommon Ground in Chicago. There is a song that Mark wrote for Crystal called A Chance To Breathe. A fan (K Miller) created this video of the song with a very moving set of pictures in memory of Mark.

During her concert in Toledo on the same day Crystal dedicated her song Holy Toledo to her friend Mark Brink. Here is a video of the very emotional performance.

A True Friend - I'll start there.
Great memories of open mics, doing shows and sharing sweet potato fries!
This Lady truly stands up for her beliefs.
I could go on and on about how much she loves her son, but Crystal will cover that. I was honored to be one of the first to hold him in my arms. Oh, my, how he is blossoming --- he really is like the sunflower that Crystal loves so much!
